Benefits of doing exercises

Earlier this week I joined a sports gym in order to control weight. Not sure when I can achieve the target weight to lose 3 to 5 kg (6 to 11 pounds), but have felt some very good benefits already, such as:

-          I feel so good after swimming for 20 to 30 minutes. Previously, I was concerned if I can really go to the gym after work because I was exhausted. But I have found I feel rather refreshed and overall much better, both physically and mentally than before.

-          I intentionally chose a gym that is a bit distant from my workplace and home. That makes me do walk a bit and even more exercise. On the way back home, I use a bus as a kind of reward to myself. This set of new activities works very well to enjoy diverse parts of Tokyo.

-          Because the gym also has a spa facility, that saves the hustle of taking a bath at home and cuts utilities cost.

I chose a weekday plan so that I can do other things on weekends. That would help me separate duties (work, house chores, exercise) and pleasures (private travel, reading books, going to museums, etc.) better.
