Review: nice swimming pools

Upon instruction from my doctor I've started exercise every day. He has recommended swimming is the best.

In fact, it is my most favorite sports since I was a small child. I used to go to a swimming pool every day in summer. For decades I've been to a variety of swimming pools that I fondly remember.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium is a wonderful facility for professional athlete use and open to the public, but unfortunately it will have been closed from the next month due to renovation for the Tokyo Olympics. They told me that it would reopen, but not sure when.

When I lived in London, I used to start the day by swimming at LA Fitness gym in South Kensington. It was only a few minutes walk from my place, and it was very nice.

Another one I found special is at the Langham Boston. It was surprisingly empty and I enjoyed having it to all by myself. In March when a snow storm cancelled everything and I was stuck in the hotel, it was lovely swimming in the indoor tropical paradise while seeing the snow.

A real tropical one was at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. But it smelled a bit moldy, so did it in a room facing the courtyard. Given that the entire accommodation was nonetheless spotless at every corner, I thought the utterly humid weather was an inevitable factor.

It is no surprise the perfect environment was available in Hawaii. The Hilton Hawaiian Village's lagoon was a bit cold which made a pleasant contrast with the warm climate.
