September

In countries with four seasons, autumn officially starts in September. Students go back to school. In USA, Labor Day (first Monday in September) is known as the official end of summer.

The air no longer feels too steamy. It’s easier to get by, day by day. In Europe, people already wear a jacket. It gets dark in the evenings.

Similar to the season, people move on. A colleague decided to move back to his home town from the nation’s capital. I’ll soon leave home to go on a long business trip.

Nothing -- good or bad -- remains forever.

September discernibly signals that notion; and therefore, it is somehow a special month.
