Review: Two Weeks Notice

In his recent interview, Hugh Grant recounted that he regretted being a romantic comedy movie star and said that he might as well have done something else.

This movie convinced me of that.

I guess the target audience is certainly women like myself -- a studious, stubborn and serious professional who is not afraid of speaking up for what she believes in. Men normally don't like these kinds of ladies or at least feel they're a bit annoying. That is the reality.

This movie is on the contrary. A cute and successful businessman played by Hugh Grant loves her. As a huge fan of him, I feel very good about that. At the same time, I can imagine he might not have enjoyed playing such a role, which led to his comments in the interview.

Having said that, I think one of the roles of Hollywood movies is to make the audience feel happy, and I did feel happy with this movie. So I would like to tell Hugh Grant that he did a good job, and has greatly contributed to society.

By the way, Donald Trump briefly appeared in a party scene in this movie, which surprised me!!
