Individual Reflection

After an offsite training was “individual reflection” as the organizer called it a day. That was several years ago, and since then I have loved that term.

I sometimes wonder why I have stayed single my entire life. I can describe this situation in a number of ways. Nobody has proposed to me, neither did I to anybody. Career has been always the top priority of my life. I have not yet met the right man.

Probably the clearest reason is that I need to be alone for individual reflection whenever I want. While I like to communicate with people, I also require some space to maintain independent thoughts.

I have decided to celebrate my turning half a century later this month in my mountain retreat by reflecting on life and current events. It is nice I am able to do that without hesitation.
