Review: $3.5 million condo in Roppongi, Tokyo

Not sure why, but Facebook showed me an advertisement of a nice looking one bedroom condominium of 111m² (1,194 ft²) which is about $3.5 million. There was another condo of the same size in the same building, which was a two bedroom one.

The location is ideal, between the National Art Center and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. Albeit in Roppongi, a hustle and bustle place in central Tokyo, this particular area is a quiet corner with some distance from the busy Roppongi Street.

I thought that's lovely, regardless of whether I can afford to buy it or not. Well, who knows? If I make the best use of my "beautiful brain" as the MRI result says and become a bit creative, I might be able to get it. I've also recovered an exceptional memory by the nearly one-year total abstinence from drink.

Before starting to make any effort, it makes sense to see what I'd obtain, so I can see if it's worth the effort. Therefore, I called the agent of the condos and visited them this afternoon.

While the one bedroom property was honestly not that attractive, the view from the kitchen of the two bedroom one was spectacular. I especially loved the large Tokyo Tower and the Roppongi Hills which was located right in front of the window.

Having said that, I didn't like the idea of not being able to open the window. As it is a high-rise condo, ventilation is only through the artificial machine system. It makes a small noise all the time.

All things considered, I've confirmed that my own house is the best in the world.
